Classical Archaeology and Medieval Latin Recruitments Begin

The Department has been authorized to fill a half-time faculty position in Classical Archaeology at the Assistant Professor level to be combined with the half-time position of Director of the Nemea Center for Classical Archaeology. This recruitment is the fulfillment of a plan to develop the Center and the continuing educational and research potential of the Nemea site while integrating the incumbent of the Directorship into the ranks of the regular faculty. In addition, the Department is participating in a joint recruitment for an expert in Medieval Latin organized under the auspices of the Dean of Arts and Humanities. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a joint appointment, with the particular departments determined by the profile of that candidate.
