Kathleen McCarthy wins a Distinguished Teaching Award

Kathleen McCarthy, Associate Professor of Classics and Comparative Literature, has been named one of the 2007 recipients of the Distinguished Teaching Award, the highest faculty honor for teaching excellence.

Professor McCarthy is one of only four recipients of the Award in 2007. The recipients will be honored at an event held Wednesday, April 25, in Zellerbach Playhouse. She joins an outstanding group of previous winners of this honor in the Department (W. Ralph Johnson, Mark Griffith, Erich Gruen, and Leslie Kurke).
